Sadie’s Bath Salts

Sadie’s Bath Salts

Sadie’s Bath Salt Recipe

In a large glass or metal bowl, stir together the following:

2 cups Epsom Salt or Dead Sea Salt - or 1 cup of each (Do not use table salts; they will dry out skin and probably sting like hell! When using Dead Sea Salt, which Sadie prefers, be sure to remove any dark pieces that may have slipped through processing.)

1-2 teaspoons of baking soda to make your skin soft

10-12 drops of essential oil (Lavender is best for a relaxing bath, Vanilla and Eucalyptus are also fabulous!)

You can add a small amount of food coloring paste (the kind used for cake decorating) if desired, but it's not necessary. Sadie used green for hers. Just make sure not to overdo it or you’ll turn your skin a lovely shade. Start with ¼ teaspoon.

After you’ve stirred the salt really well (Sadie does it for at least two minutes, the more you stir the more the wonderful scent begins to come through!), pour into pretty glass jars and attach lids.

Use clean mason jars, baby food jars, or even spaghetti and jelly jars. They are all perfect for homemade bath salt! Cut circles of fabric and use a ribbon to fasten the material to the top of the jar if you don’t have a lid. This works for small jars that will be used within a month or so. Or you can sometimes find fancy jars at the local craft store, just like Sadie!

Bath Salt Excerpt - From the middle of Chapter 10

Turning back to the bathroom, Jazz missed seeing Luke’s mouth drop open in horror when he noticed her exposed bits of skin—stained a very pale green from the bath salts.

Sadie! Mentally chastising his human servant, he felt her mental shrug.

I told you to only use a couple of scoops. You overdid it.

Quickly following Jazz into the blessedly dim bathroom, he struggled to keep his eyes off her light green ass when she dropped the towel, knowing he would laugh hysterically. And be required to answer why.

“The reason you can’t adjust the water temperature, is because I’ve mentally locked it where I like it.” He didn’t tell her it was because Sadie thought it hilarious fun to turn the water to full cold, hoping he would turn it on, and step under the frigid spray. Something he did twice, yelping in disgust, and giving Sadistic Sadie something to giggle about all day.

Pushing past Jazz, he couldn’t help but see visions of his house erupting into a battleground of prank one-upmanship if she discovered the color of her skin. Both women enjoyed practical jokes far too much for his comfort.

Adjusting everything to Jazz’s specifications, he pulled her in with him, intent on scrubbing her green skin, until it reverted to its natural pale beauty, before she discovered what happened.

Picking up the loofah and loading it with liquid soap, he started scrubbing her backside. For long moments she relaxed against his touch, dropping her forehead against the lava rock and groaning in pleasure. His incisors lengthened.

“Mmm. That feels wonderful.” Straightening, she turned to him with eyes full of promise.

Before he could insist that he finish the job, she filled her hands with soap and smoothed them down his chest.

“It’s my turn,” she promised.

Any thoughts of green skin dissolved when she trailed a soapy hand down the center of his chest.
